Meet Damian Schroeter
Damian Schroeter is an Industrial Designer with a Master’s in Secondary Education (Design and Technology) based in Canberra, Australia.
Damian worked in the furniture industry as a designer, manufacturer, importer, and retailer of quality affordable furniture, before building a design and marketing agency from the ground up. He became Canberra’s first Google Certified Partner for online advertising at the start of the online marketing boom.
Enjoying a diverse professional career in roles servicing Local Government, The Department of Defence, higher-education, private enterprise, Federal Government, global enterprise, and not-for-profits, Damian is approachable, experienced and adaptable and takes pride in leading and developing teams to think creatively, and working together to develop user-centred design solutions for the greater good.
Damian currently specialises in design and technology education as a classroom teacher in ACT public schools teaching graphic design, industrial design, 3D CAD modelling, project management, wood technology, metals technology, construction, and food technology.
Damian is currently not open to any new long term employment opportunities.
